Give Me a HeroGive me a hero
Someone that doesn't crave their shining armor
Someone who is filled with passion not fame
Someone that doesn't let their ego do the talking
Give me a hero
Who is willing to accept their failures
Who extends a helping hand to capture all that summons pain
Who doesn't need spandex to save a life
Give me a hero
To turn cries into laughter
To create something that has been destroyed
To give me hope when all hope is gone
Please give me a hero.
Curiosity Killed the RomeoThe sky, like a river of ink flowing above me
As I stand below your window, careful not to make a sound

I await your smile and forbidden beauty, like Juliet, and I your Romeo
With one graceful swoop your curtains withdraw
Anticipation is swallowing me whole- oh, please let me see your face!
...that's your mother's window!

Too occupied in line waiting,
for creativity to be let loose like a stray dog.
As if we will find home in this pursuit of happiness...
but we only enclose each other in small rooms
with nothing but old laptops.
How many times I've guessed which letter could it be...
Which letter could it be?
To free us from havoc-stricken-thoughts?
They come and go, unending like 24 hour subway stations.
There's no break for this lonely man,
heaving every breathe of stale air
into my overused lungs...
Living in confined walls of flesh
held up with brittle paper-mache bones.
Which day is it that I will burst out from this cage of a life?
And hover with the Gods found in carefully binded bo
